LET’S

UPCYCLE

TOGETHER

Woodpickers is a social enterprise that provides sustainable wood-based gifts for tourists and locals looking for a memento of their visit to B.C, so they can make a sustainable impact with their purchase, wherever they travel here on the west coast.

Unlike other souvenir or woodworking shops, only locally-sourced wood scraps destined for landfills are used to make the Woodpicker products. All materials are sourced from participating businesses and residents across the Lower Mainland.

Woodpickers is a Student Social Innovation Seed Fund Grant recipient from RADIUS SFU + Embark Sustainability, and is operated by Michelle Chen and James Wiltshire, two SFU Faculty of Environment alumni.

We love connecting with people throughout the Lower Mainland – regardless if you’re a resident or business interested in participating in our Wood Picker program, or a wholesaler or retailer interested in sampling, ordering, and stocking our products. We’d love to hear from you!
